Then after playing a load of fun games, the Cubs and Scouts, made their own tea; a delicious traditional bangers, mash, peas and sweetcorn and lashings of gravy. With Apple Pie and Custard for pudding, everyone was filled to the brim.

After a movie, and supper, we slept through to the early hours of Remembrance Sunday morning. We assembled a parade to the local parish Church and the Cubs and Scouts did their duty and paid great respect to remember those that gave the ultimate sacrifice. The flag bearers, their escorts and our new Scout who laid the Group's wreath all did a great job of marking the eleventh hour at the war memorial which is located inside Goldthorpe Parish Church.
Thank you once again to all the adult support who made the weekend and the events run extremely well.
